2024 Mid-Year Meeting

Welcome to the Sunshine State!

On behalf of the program committee, Amie and I would like to welcome you to the 2024 ISPE Mid-Year Meeting. We are excited to get a third (!!!) chance to organize an interesting, informative, and inspiring face-to-face Mid-Year Meeting in our home state, sunny Florida.

The theme of the 2024 Mid-Year Meeting is Expanding Pharmacoepidemiology to meet Emerging Global Challenges, in which we showcase and further encourage the innovative and groundbreaking work of our members by embracing a forward-looking perspective we feel is especially prudent in light of the past three years. We hope our sessions will spark new collaborations with likeminded scientists in related fields and advance our approaches in generating actionable real-world evidence. The 2024 Mid-Year Meeting will also feature one symposium on drug utilization methods in Spanish language, taking advantage of our proximity to Latin America, and hoping to attract new ISPE members from this region.

The mid-year meeting continues to be the ISPE event where we focus on the next generation of pharmacoepidemiologists. It is a unique opportunity for students and recent graduates to present their research and engage with other top researchers in the field. In our program we have dedicated sessions for students and trainees to present their work while engaging with our senior pharmacoepidemiologists as they are planning the next steps in their careers.

We look forward to hosting you in April in sunny Florida and to many scientific and social exchanges that make our ISPE community so special.
