Submitting an abstract

Q: Are figured or tables allowed in the abstract submission site
A: The abstract submission site is for text only with a maximum of 2500 characters

Q: Can the presenting author be affiliated with industry
A: The presenting author can be affiliated, but must disclose that on the conflict of interest form.

Q: Can one person be listed as the presenting author on more than one poster/oral presentation?
A: Yes, one person can be listed as the presenting author on more than one presentation

Q:  Are the abstracts embargoed?
A: Embargo date on accepted abstracts is August 24, 2020

Q: Does ISPE accept encore abstracts
A: ISPE does not accept encore abstracts

Q: Does ISPE accept later-breakers
A: ISPE does not accept late-breakers

Q: Does ISPE publish accepted abstracts
A: ISPE will publish through PDS, ISPE website, and final ICPE program

Q: If my abstract is accepted can I make edits?
A: Yes, you will be able to edit and update an accepted abstract 

Q: Do you accept abstracts that have been or will be presented at other national or international congresses?
A: Results that have been published (except in abstract form) either on-line ahead of print, or in printed version before January 1, 2020 are not eligible for submission. Results that have been presented at meetings of other scientific societies are eligible for presentation, provided they have not been published (except in abstract form) either on-line ahead of print, or in printed version before January 1, 2020. All abstracts accepted will be published online in Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety, ISPE's official journal.
